In 2006, I collaborated with a trombone player,
Dylan ThomasChmura-Moore.  The composition  was
from Karlheinz Stockhausen, a melodic and
emotional piece. As he preformed this piece I
painted in front of a audience along side. The piece
was about 15 minutes long...this was the result.

Juleen currently operates a  custom
painting business, "The Artist Touch," for the
past ten years.  Her business allows her to
explore various styles, tools, and methods.
Combining her background in painting, Juleen's
knowledge of color and composition and
texture adds to her success.

As for her own art work, she loves aesthetics
and is dedicated in making interesting art.   To
her there is no separation between art and life.
Juleen chooses to make art with found objects
and collect items ie. colored glass that has
broken in the sink, rusted metal from the
street as she happens on them, old pallets that
have developed with each job, etc.  She has a
strong connection with Abstract Expressionism
and loves working big.  The balance of the
conscious/unconscious mind also plays an
important part of her art making process.

The artwork of children inspires her as well; so
free and symbolic.  To make art in its pure
nature is why she creates for herself.  The art
she creates for others lifts her spirits. "I feel
good that people trust in what I do and I can
paint something for them that interprets  their
own artistic visions. That is what I enjoy most
about my business."

....."it took me my entire life
to paint like a child"...
